Ringworm - how to effectively get rid of it with home remedies

The mycosis appearing on the skin is the result of an infection with, inter alia, dermatophytes and yeasts. These microorganisms thrive on dead layers of keratin – we are dealing here with a very delicate type of protein present in the skin, hair and nails.

Ringworm can appear for a variety of reasons. In general, however, the symptoms are common – they include itching, spots, cracking and peeling of the epidermis and sometimes even an unpleasant smell.

Recurring fungal infections may indicate a reduced immunity of the body. However, the environment we are in is also important – for example, a humid and poorly ventilated environment.

Fortunately, we are not defenseless. There are home methods that can help us effectively fight fungal infections, so that there are no complications and the mycosis does not spread to other areas of the body. Later in this article, we will share with you the various recipes that will help you avoid traditional pharmacological treatment.

Tinea? Try Oregano Oil

Oregano essential oil is a product with antifungal properties that reduce the presence of fungi and other harmful microorganisms on our skin. In this case, we suggest you combine the oil with a little olive oil. Thanks to this, you will strengthen the soothing properties and perfectly moisturize the skin.

  • Remember that the treatment should be carried out in the evening hours, because in contact with the sun, the remedy may cause irritation.

Apple vinegar

The natural acids in apple cider vinegar help restore the skin’s natural pH. This destroys the environment that the fungi need to multiply, which means it is good for our health.
