An excellent snack that provides nutritional value. It encourages you to enjoy the summer heat, or gives you a refreshing breath at the New Year’s Eve party. We will make this drink in a simple way, based on the basic ingredients. It is inspired by the Cuban traditional mojito.

First of all, it is necessary to decide whether: we will prepare a mojito from mandarin juice or from fruit concentrate. In the second case, we get a more intense flavor and a greater amount of nutrients that are contained in the flesh.

If we decide to have juice, the drink will take on a more delicate dimension. Below are some ways to make a mandarin drink most easily.

 Mandarin mojito – classic recipe

Ingredients (for 1 drink)

  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar (100 g)
  • Juice of 3 or 4 large mandarins
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice (30 ml)
  • ¾ glass of rum or sparkling water (150 ml)
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon of grated lemon zest or mandarin (2.5 g)

Of course, you can add more mint leaves as this will make the drink more refreshing. Before blending with the rum, you can also soak 10-12 mint leaves with orange juice.

It all depends on the circumstances and personal preferences. Depending on whether you are on the beach or at a house dance – you can personalize your mandarin mojitos.

Mandarin mojito with strawberries

This is a different, unique version of the cocktail described in this article. This mojito is even more intense in taste and pleasant to the human senses. A carefully thought-out recipe will prove itself on hot days or at home.

Ingredients (for 1 drink)

  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • ½ cup of brown sugar (100 g)
  • Juice of 3 or 4 large mandarins
  • 2 tablespoons of strawberry juice (30 ml)
  • ¾ glass of rum or sparkling water (150 ml)
  • Optional: 1 strawberry, halved, mint leaves, ½ teaspoon lemon zest (2.5 g), 1 orange slice

Preparation

  • First of all, we need to get strawberry and mandarin juice, preferably squeezed by hand.
  • As in the previous recipe: we will not add water to the cocktail (unless you want it to have a softer flavor).
  • Then: mix the juices with brown sugar and rum.
  • Importantly, pour everything into a nice glass and decorate according to your preferences.
  • Mandarin mojito is ready to eat!

Preparing such an original cocktail will not take more than 5 minutes, so we have no excuses not to try it. Both hot weather and decent winter houses require proper treatment. What could be better than a delicious fresh drink?
